I discovered Lord Huron last night. About twice a year, I find an album or a band that grabs me instantly and bowls me over. This did that. I spent a late-night hour watching their videos. The music and videos are next-generation Blue Velvet nightclub, with a slide guitar from a hookah-smoking caterpillar at a Nashville bus stop. There’s something ominous and threatening about both the music and the videos, but they are outwardly 1950s-era styled glitch. It’s really wild, in short. I’ve flipped over the whole package. I can’t get enough. I recommend a late-night binge of your own.

Though the music selection is a recent repeat, it was too good to pass up. Repeats are okay, and The Dining Rooms play well in Centro.
